Working in production environments, examining raw ingredients, observing preparation stages, and understanding quality control gave us a clearer picture of food. A picture that made us think more, ask better questions, and make more careful choices.
Even then, the love for the taste of sausages and cold cuts was there, but trust was not. Not out of fear, but out of awareness. When family and children entered the picture, that sensitivity became more serious. A simple question took shape:
If this food is going to be eaten, why shouldn’t we know exactly how it’s made and what goes into it?
